Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Welder Fabricator located in Tamworth. The Welder Fabricator will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, cutting and shaping metal materials, and welding components to create finished products. Daily tasks include setting up and operating welding equipment, performing quality checks, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Collaboration with other team members and maintaining a clean work environment are also essential duties.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding
* Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
* Experience in cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components
* Ability to perform quality checks and ensure adherence to safety protocols
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Experience working with different welding equipment and machinery
* Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
* Relevant certifications or a vocational qualification in welding or fabrication
* Prior experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment is a plus
