R2R (Record to Report) Global Process Owner - £110K - £125K
Robert Half is partnering with a large multinational company based on the outskirts of Bristol to recruit a newly created R2R (Record to Report) Global Process Owner role.
The organization has recently outsourced a significant portion of their finance processes and is undergoing an exciting period of change. Therefore, they are seeking an experienced professional in finance transformation, R2R process ownership, or finance operations within a large multinational environment.
The Role
This role involves leading and supporting the design, delivery, and transformation of the organization's global R2R processes and systems. You will collaborate with a team of RTR & ERP professionals, work with cross-functional stakeholders, and provide strategic guidance to optimize global RTR operations.
Key Duties
1. Define and monitor the R2R process, driving improvements and standardization.
2. Review and simplify processes, structures, and systems; set KPIs.
3. Lead global R2R strategy, including policies and technologies.
4. Drive cost reduction and maximize returns through ERP systems.
5. Identify service improvement opportunities and implement technical/process solutions.
6. Design and implement the ERP R2R solution.
7. Manage process documentation, SOPs, data governance, and training with BPO.
8. Define and monitor R2R service levels and KPIs with the BPO.
9. Apply best practices across R2R activities with relevant stakeholders.
10. Align stakeholders to ensure consistent, efficient processes that meet business needs.
11. Benchmark shared services against industry trends to drive continuous improvements.
12. Improve internal controls to better monitor transaction risk and financial exposure.
13. Lead adoption of standardized processes, customizing for legal/tax compliance.
Your Profile
* Previous experience in finance transformation, R2R process ownership, or finance operations within a large multinational company.
* Proven expertise in ERP deployments, including hands-on system implementation and process design.
* Experience working with BPO/shared services providers, with a strong understanding of outsourced finance operations.
* Strong knowledge of financial close, consolidation, intercompany accounting, and external reporting.
* Experience leading global teams and driving business process transformation.
* Data-driven decision-making skills and the ability to monitor performance using KPIs.
* Knowledge of working in a global business environment with an understanding of global processes and transactional flows.
