Job Description
The key responsibilities of an Accounts Payable Clerk include, but may not be limited to:
* Invoice processing
* Preparation of payment runs
* Purchase order queries and matching
* Directing non-PO invoices in workflow and chasing them through the system for prompt approval
* Statement reconciliations
* Resolving and responding to supplier queries
* Raising invoices
* Ad-hoc chasing
* Sending remittances
The Successful Applicant
The successful a Accounts Payable Clerk should possess:
* Effective team player with a positive 'can-do' attitude
* Proven experience in Accounts Payable
* An eagerness to start a career in Finance and Accounting
* Excellent communication skills
* Keen attention to detail
* Experience in the Public Sector and Government space
* Can reliable commute to Preston
