What the Job Involves As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the Head of Service and other staff members to provide high-quality educational services to children with various mental and physical health needs. Your role includes supporting teachers, preparing and maintaining learning materials, and occasionally teaching classes unassisted. You will also engage in planning enrichment activities, working with students who require special attention, assessing student progress, and providing pastoral support. Additionally, you will be involved in implementing policies, invigilating exams, and supporting transitions.
