Please note that this is a Manchester based role and our current hybrid working arrangement is Tuesday’s and Thursday’s in the office.
Summary of our role
As the Head of Media Planning & Insights you will support the Agency Leadership Team (ALT) by providing strategic input into global media campaigns, creating data driven strategies that lead to media activations.
Leading the Planning team, you are responsible for their happiness, career success and the strategic output for the agency. You will take responsibility and ownership over key accounts, building lasting client partnerships that allow us to create impactful, effective work; whilst identifying opportunities for growth and new business.
You will build your profile around the agency, educating others about the benefit you can bring and when to involve you in their projects. You will share your knowledge with the team, assisting the ALT to support and develop the team.
Acting as a true partner to the ALT, you will support agency growth and development, playing a lead role in inspiring, motivating and gaining buy-in from the wider team, whilst championing the discipline within AMP, across Havas Lynx Group and externally.
What you can expect to be doing…
· Overall responsibility for the media strategy and plans for the agency and your clients
· as to their role in marketing and advertising
· Model how the team should interact and the standards they should keep in all aspects of conduct and delivery
· Use your mastery over presentation creation and delivery to ensure the highest quality of communications are achieved for the agency and your team
· Ensure directives from agency leadership are understood by the team and are followed
· Ensure that the strategy team fully understands compliance process and any relevant codes and that agency output upholds highest standards; including, but not limited to, the ABPI Code of Practice
· Work closely with key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide effective solutions
· Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities to drive business growth and efficiency
· Develop and maintain strong client relationships by delivering high-quality outputs and demonstrating the value we can bring to our clients
· Instil unwavering confidence in the Havas Lynx Group offering
· Demonstrate leadership and knowledge-sharing among your peers and junior team members
· Demonstrate strong financial acumen, understanding the financial implications of media planning decisions and investments
