The Role:
* Contribute to food production following instructions from the Sous Chef or Head Chef
* Stay informed about the day’s reservations and external events affecting business
* Know the menu and daily specials
* Prepare dishes timely and to standard
* Minimize waste, control portions, and act responsibly
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene and HACCP compliance
* Follow health and safety guidelines and report issues
* Be energy and cost conscious
* Ensure kitchen equipment is maintained and report issues
* Assist in training junior kitchen staff and supervise kitchen operations
