The Role
Senior National Account Manager, you will have full P&L ownership of our retail accounts, while managing and growing relationships with retail partners across DACH. You will drive the growth of Wild in key retail channels, ensuring that our brand is represented in the Wildest way possible while maximising sales opportunities and reducing single-use plastic. You will work closely with internal teams, including marketing, supply, fulfilment, and product development, to deliver sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
* Business Development, Strategy & Reporting
o Full DACH P&L ownership, making investment decisions, proactively chasing opportunities to hit ambitious DACH growth targets.
o Define growth strategy for the DACH retail business in collaboration with the Head of Europe. Build out the channel strategy aligned with business goals.
o Tailor global retail plans to the DACH consumer, co-designing product innovation & tools to win in the DACH. Define the POS and merchandising toolkit.
o Analyse market trends, EPOS, and competitor data to identify opportunities and optimise performance. Run promotional and pricing plans aligned internally. Review ROI and adjust plans as needed.
o Forecasting & Reporting: Manage sales forecasts, prepare monthly/quarterly business reviews, and track KPIs for performance analysis.
* Relationship & Stakeholder Management
o Manage relationships with national retailers and build cross-functional contacts to ensure success.
o Develop relationships with new partners, leading to country-wide launches with Wild at the heart of the category.
o Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and product teams to execute campaigns, ensure product availability, and support new product development. Identify and mitigate risks through cross-functional teamwork.
o Lead and mentor: Directly line-manage our Account Executive (DACH) and mentor junior members of the wider retail team.
What we need from you

Past Experience
* Experience in DACH retail, ideally DM and Rossmann.
* Proven track record of leading and growing major DACH retailer accounts.
* Strong commercial acumen with extensive experience running a full retail P&L.
* Extensive experience in negotiation and managing complex customer relationships.
* Frequent use of data, forecasting systems, working with EPOS.
* (Preferred) Experience building out DACH commercial strategy & strategic direction.
Key Skills
* Essential: Fluent in German
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic, fast-paced team
* Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and sales forecasting tools
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, with a focus on results
* Strategic thinking – ability to think long term and set plans for growth
* Leadership, fully autonomous to run an account inclusive of full P&L ownership
