Join to apply for the Hygiene Team Member 4 on 4 off Nights role at Charlie Bigham's | B-Corp.
Location: Dulcote, Wells. Working hours: 4 Nights on 4 Nights Off, 6pm to 6am.
Role
In any kitchen, hygiene is paramount. You will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the production kitchen are maintained as cleanly and safely as possible.
Responsibilities
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the production kitchen.
* Adhere to food safety regulations and standards.
* Clean and sanitise equipment, surfaces and production areas using appropriate chemicals and techniques.
* Identify hygiene issues or hazards and take proactive measures to address them.
* Work with production staff and supervisors to ensure a cohesive approach to hygiene standards.
* Troubleshoot sanitation equipment and implement corrective actions as needed.
What You’ll Need / Qualifications
* Knowledge of Food Safety Regulations (Desirable): Understanding and adherence to HACCP and related standards.
* Sanitisation Procedures: Proficiency in cleaning and sanitising equipment, surfaces and production areas.
* Attention to Detail: Ability to spot potential hygiene issues and address them promptly.
* Teamwork and Communication: Ability to collaborate with colleagues to maintain hygiene standards.
* Problem-solving Skills: Ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Compensation and Benefits
* A competitive salary of £16.22 per hour (including all premiums).
* Pay increase to £16.90 per hour after successful completion of 3 months’ probation (including all premiums).
* Overtime paid at 1.5x base rate.
* 28 days annual leave, increasing with tenure.
