Job Title: Course Manager Horticulture

Contract Type: Part-time – 29.6 hours, Permanent
Salary: SP26 £30,537 to SP29 £33,365 per annum, pro rata
About Role:
We've got an exciting opportunity for a passionate Horticulture Course Manager to join our friendly team at Askham Bryan College Based at our beautiful York campus, this part-time role (4 days/week) is perfect for someone who loves sharing their knowledge and shaping the future of the industry. You'll be delivering a range of horticulture programmes, including T Levels with City & Guilds, and supporting learners through high-quality teaching and assessment.
We're looking for someone with solid sector experience and a strong understanding of both the practical and theoretical sides of horticulture. Experience in further education is a bonus, but not essential.
You'll need to be educated to degree level (or above) in a relevant subject, and either hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one. We offer excellent teacher training, 1:1 mentoring, and personal development opportunities to help you thrive.

Start Date: The College operates 2 starter/induction days per month to welcome and onboard new members. These are usually the first Monday and third Wednesday of each month (unless there is a bank holiday).
