About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Mortgage Broker to join our client's growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping clients find and secure the most suitable mortgage products based on their financial needs and circumstances.
You will act as an intermediary between borrowers and lenders, providing expert advice and guiding clients through the entire mortgage process from initial consultation through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Assess clients' financial situations and mortgage requirements.
Research and compare mortgage products from a wide panel of lenders.
Provide clear, honest, and tailored mortgage advice.
Support clients with mortgage applications and required documentation.
Liaise with lenders, solicitors, estate agents, and other stakeholders.
Keep up to date with UK mortgage market trends, interest rates, and lending criteria.
Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate client records using CRM systems.
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Mortgage Broker or in a similar financial advisory role.
CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) or equivalent qualification.
Strong understanding of UK mortgage products and the property market.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple client cases.
Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable Skills
Experience working with first-time buyers, buy-to-let investors, and remortgage clients.
Knowledge of protection products (e.g., life insurance, income protection).
Multilingual abilities.
