We have a fantastic opportunity for the right person to have significant input and responsibility in supporting and improving these services to the NHS and ultimately their patients. Working as part of Genmed's Contracts & Procurement team and assisting with drafting, reviewing, and organising a variety of documentation relating to public sector, commercial and bespoke contracts and procurement, alongside general administration to support the team. You will work closely with the Contracts & Procurement Manager, Genmed's Customer Relationship Managers, Finance team, Suppliers, and Customers.
Responsibilities
Review commercial instructions and under supervision prepare contractual documentation (e.g. New Contracts, Contracts Change Control Notices (CCN's), Contract Extension Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA's), funding documentation and other contractual documentation) and procurement documentation (e.g. RFPs, RFQ's etc).
With supervision as necessary, coordinate Customer and Supplier comments and update documentation as appropriate.
Manage approvals, organise and coordinate Contract and Document sign off. Collaborate with Customer Relationship Managers, Procurement teams, Suppliers and Customers to manage pipeline of work and meet deadlines.
When required, work on procurement processes and draft and prepare procurement documentation for Genmed and Genmed's customers.
Analysis of spend and procurement data.
Maintenance management and review to ensure breakdowns are actioned, maintenance visits go ahead and PO's are raised on time.
Notify other internal departments of new Contract developments and updates whilst maintaining the Company's and the Contract department's files (electronic and paper, logs, trackers, asset registers and databases).
Contract and Risk Management; Actively support and contribute to the development and improvement of the company's, and the department's processes.
Along with other members of the contracts team, contribute to horizon scanning logs and research and flag new legal and regulatory developments relevant to the company and its business.
Provide assistance to the Data Protection Officer, e.g. helping to update policies, monitoring mailbox and fielding queries.
Conduct legal research when required and prepare clear, concise advice notes for the contracts department.
Draft correspondence/emails.
Undertake any other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
Such other duties as the line manager may require from time to time.

Necessary:
Excellent Microsoft Office skills with the ability to draft own correspondence. Integrity and ability to maintain confidential information at all times

Desirable:
Good level of numeracy with proficiency in spreadsheets
Experience or interest in working with the NHS or other public sector bodies
Legal contracts experience (reviewing or drafting).
Knowledge and experience of using/maintaining Asset Registers
Experience of using systems such as SAP & Hubspot
