Assistant Economic Development Officer Job ref: ST 12861 | Job type: Permanent Location: Signal Centre, Bangor | Salary: SO1, SCP 24 - 26, £35,412 - £37,280 per annum Quantity of Posts Available: 1 Closing date: Friday 29 Aug 2025 16:00 Job summary The purpose of the post is to assist the Economic Development Officer in the implementation and evaluation of the Councils Economic Development portfolio as agreed by the Directorate. The post holder will also provide functions and services to support and develop economic development in the Ards and North Down Borough Council area on behalf of the Service Unit and assist with the promotion of commercial, industrial and economic development. He/she will also be required to represent the Councils interests in wider networks. Please note A valid driving licence with access to a form of transport that will allow fulfilment of the duties of the post or have access to a suitable form of transport which will enable the post holder to meet the requirements of the post. Able to work evenings and weekends and public holidays as required and adopt a flexible approach to working hours in line with operational requirements.
