Murray McIntosh is seeking a Product Performance & Calibration Engineer to start work for a key client on a 12 month contract as detailed below:
Responsibilities and experience:
* Broad understanding of engine systems and associated components
* Ability to use software to capture, interpret and analyse machine data
* Bosch or Delphi software or data strategy experience would be preferred
* Broad understanding of performance, emissions, calibration and controls
* Understanding of dyno test cell management and test procedures
* Experience of managing test procedures to meet deadlines
* Creation of Engineering Instructions (EI)
* Strong ECU understanding
* Knowledge of homologation & certification beneficial
* Knowledge of base engine, after treatment systems & emissions
This role would suit an engineer who has experience of working as a technician or test engineer with broad knowledge of engine systems and associated components.
Knowledge of ECUs, performance, calibration, emissions & software strategies would be ideal.
