Role – We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Python Developer to join our team and contribute to innovative projects within the Power Utilities sector. This role is ideal for someone who not only has strong technical expertise but also understands the critical role software plays in modernizing power transmission and distribution systems.
Key skills:
* Proficiency in developing applications using Python.
* Solid understanding of software development and delivery lifecycles.
* Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
* Experience with software testing, deployment, and release management.
* Exposure to or experience in the Power Utilities / Power Transmission & Distribution domain.
* Ability to understand industry challenges and translate them into technical solutions.
* Consulting background is a plus.
* Strong communication skills (oral & written)
* Rights to work in the UK is must (No Sponsorship available)
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain applications using Python.
* Collaborate with product owners, testers, and other developers to deliver reliable, high-performing solutions.
* Apply strong knowledge of software development lifecycles and best practices.
* Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, ensuring timely delivery of sprint goals.
* Support the testing, deployment, and release processes, ensuring stability and scalability of applications.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and delivery efficiency.
