Your role will include: Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities tailored to students’ needs. Providing one-to-one and small group support that keeps children engaged and motivated. Assisting with the delivery of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing with proven strategies. Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom. Offering dignified support with personal care when needed. Tracking progress and sharing valuable feedback with teachers and families. What We’re Looking For Experience working with children (SEND or education setting desirable, but not essential). A genuine passion for supporting children with ASC and SEMH. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Patience, empathy, and a proactive, solution-focused approach. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
