They are looking for a Sourcing Manager to join the team on a 6 month contract. You will be working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, hybrid working being office based a minimum of 2 days a week. The role is based at the businesses offices at one of the above locations.
Role purpose
Lead complex, multi‑contract change activity across Insurance Pensions & Investment (IP&I) portfolios-spanning UK and European operations- supporting a major business divestment project, ensuring business continuity and value through the transfer of contracts, novations, and planned exits. Partner closely with stakeholders across IP&I and coordinate dependencies with organisation‑wide contracts.
What you'll do
Project Delivery: Drive contract novations and updates to ensure services are either transferred to third parties or removed from internal consumption once the business exits.
Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the central point of contact, managing relationships with suppliers and internal teams across multiple business units.
Execution: Move the program from theory to action-engage suppliers, implement treatment strategies, and ensure smooth transitions.
Governance & Planning: Maintain project plans, track progress, and ensure all contractual elements are addressed.
Complexity Management: Navigate multiple stakeholders, external suppliers, and varied strategies (business selling, mothership, wider group) to knit together a cohesive approach.
What you'll bring
Deep sourcing/procurement expertise in financial services or insurance, with a track record leading novations, assignments/transfer, Transaction Service Agreements and supplier exit programmes.
Mergers and acquisition experience is an advantage.
Strong grasp of contract law and governance, including cross‑border regulatory considerations (UK/EU) and third‑party risk.
Advanced stakeholder management-able to influence senior leaders, align diverse teams and drive outcomes at pace.
Commercial acumen, analytical rigor and excellent written/verbal communication.
Familiarity with MS Office; SAP Ariba advantageous.
Professional qualifications (e.g., CIPS) advantageous.
