Role Description
We are looking for Subcontractor Fencing and Retaining Wall Installer Squads to join our team on a contractual basis. This remote-based role involves executing fencing and retaining wall installations according to project specifications. Key responsibilities include reading and interpreting design plans, preparing construction sites, installing structures such as gabion and modular block retaining walls, general demarcation, sports or high-security fences, and access gates. The role also involves ensuring quality control, compliance with safety standards, and timely project completion.
Qualifications
* Experience in fencing installation, retaining wall construction, and working with materials like gabion, concrete, and modular blocks.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering or design plans, and adapt to evolving project requirements on-site.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within the construction and civil engineering sectors.
* Strong mechanical and technical skills for handling tools, equipment, and machinery related to installation processes.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and project stakeholders.
* Previous experience with site preparation and excavation is a plus.
* Must hold valid trade certifications or licenses relevant to construction or fencing/retaining wall installation.
