Role Overview: Reporting directly to the Materials Manager, you will take ownership of all logistics functions within the business. With a strong focus on meeting customer delivery expectations, you'll be the key link between departments, proactively solving problems, and seeking out opportunities for continuous improvement. From reviewing warehousing practices to optimizing inventory and managing transport logistics, your impact will be felt across the company.

Key Responsibilities for Warehouse and Logistics Manager:
5. Strategically plan and manage logistics, including internal transportation and the introduction of Kanban systems.
6. Utilize ERP systems to enhance efficiencies, incorporating barcode technology and stock control.
7. Manage warehouse space effectively and ensure the appropriate use of material handling equipment.
8. Coach, train, and supervise warehouse teams to ensure top performance.
9. Monitor and improve delivery times, transport costs, and overall logistics efficiency.
10. Maintain driver quality standards and a low no-show rate.
11. Analyse data, track metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
12. Collaborate with the purchasing team to influence procurement strategies.
What We re Looking For in a Warehouse and Logistics Manager :
13. A strategic thinker with a proven track record in logistics or supply chain management at a senior level.
14. Experience with ERP systems, barcode technology, and warehouse optimization.

What You Bring:
19. Significant experience in a supply chain or logistics management role.
20. Hands-on knowledge of stores and goods inward processes.
21. Proven experience managing warehouse upgrades and optimizing logistical workflows.
22. Familiarity with working in a quality-accredited environment and compliance with ISO standards.
23. Advanced IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
