Mechanical Mates / Pipefitter's Mates Needed in Farnborough, Hampshire Location: Farnborough, Hampshire Start Date: Week Commencing 22nd June Duration: Until September / October (Approx. 3-4 Months) We are seeking a Mechanical Mate / Pipefitter's Mate for a project in Farnborough, Hampshire. The successful candidates will be assisting Pipe Fitters with the installation of steel pipework systems and associated support bracketry on a commercial/industrial project. Key Responsibilities Assisting Pipe Fitters with the installation of steel pipework systems. Supporting the installation of channel iron and Uni-Strut support systems/bracketry. Assisting with the positioning and bolting of pre-fabricated steel pipework. Helping with the installation of 2" threaded steel pipework. Loading, unloading, and moving materials around site. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Following site health and safety procedures at all times. Assisting with general mechanical installation duties as directed by the Pipe Fitters and Site Supervisor. Essential Requirements Previous experience working as a Mechanical Mate, Pipefitter's Mate, Labourer, or similar role on commercial or industrial projects. Basic knowledge of mechanical pipework installations. Valid CSCS Card. Own PPE. Good understanding of site health and safety requirements. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
