Mechanical Manager needed within the Southwest London area
My client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Manager with a strong background in commercial installation and maintenance for the refurbishment and upgrade of a prison located in Southwest London area.
Duties:
•Lead and manage the full delivery of complex mechanical installations and refurbishment works including ducting, pipework and plant systems within a prison environment.
•Develop, monitor and maintain weekly and monthly progress reports, track project milestones and oversee the overall programme to ensure timely completion.
•Ensure technical excellence on site by providing guidance to mechanical operatives, troubleshooting issues and implementing effective solutions.
•Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants and subcontractors, demonstrating confidence in a client-facing capacity.
•Maintain strict compliance with all on-site Health and Safety regulations and industry standards.
The successful Mechanical Manager will have the following:
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and installation methodology
• Previous experience as a mechanical engineer, pipe fitter or plumber before stepping up to management
• Able to work full time on site in southwest and travel occasionally if required
• Confident communicator with the ability to represent the company to clients and stakeholders
• Previous experience working in high security projects specifically Prison’s
Start Date: ASAP
Length: Permanent – Project runs to at least 2027
