Key Responsibilities:
* Machine high-precision components from technical drawings to exact specifications
* Achieve first-time quality and meet defined cycle times
* Maintain cost-effective production standards and reduce waste
* Support ongoing manufacturing process improvements
* Collaborate with colleagues and departments to ensure smooth workflow
* Adhere to all Health & Safety and Environmental policies
Requirements:
Essential:
* Completed a recognised apprenticeship in an engineering discipline
(or equivalent hands-on experience as a Turner)
* Skilled in using Fanuc controls across various machines, including:
* Vertical borers
* Lathes
* Mill-turn machines
* 5-axis lathes
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams
Desirable:
* Working knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control) and Lean Manufacturing
* Strong general computer skills
