Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant – Fixed Term Contract (6 months)
We are looking for an experienced, committed and reliable Recruiter with a can‑do attitude to provide a varied range of recruitment and recruitment‑related administration services across the UK business on a 6‑month fixed term contract.
Responsibilities
* Recruit and source candidates for a range of roles using internal networking, LinkedIn Recruiter and other online media.
* Build relationships with internal Line Managers, candidates, recruitment suppliers and the wider HR team.
* Administer the Recruitment System – write and post vacancies/job adverts, amend and extend vacancies, set up user profiles, schedule candidate interviews, progress offers of employment and chase approvals.
* Manage end‑to‑end candidate duties including pre‑screening, telephone interviews, Line Manager interview set‑up, job offer support and onboarding.
* Sourcing and pipelining candidates, maintaining vacancy control and overall candidate management.
Qualifications
* Experience in recruitment within the engineering market.
* Strong relationship management skills.
* Preferred: In‑house recruitment experience; candidates from a recruitment agency background may be considered.
* Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills – able to influence, engage, present ideas and perspectives constructively.
* Proven experience as part of a team.
* Results‑driven, proactive, accountable and with a strong client/customer service orientation.
* Time‑management skills and a highly organised approach, with advanced IT proficiency.
* Experience working in a fast‑paced role within a busy team.
