Overview
Here at Carshalton College, we are seeking a Centre School Administrator to provide administration support to the Head of College Administration and curriculum staff in order to support the effective management and delivery of the curriculum.
Responsibilities
* Work in a team and liaise with curriculum staff and cross-college services on student and staff matters and manage enquiries and administration tasks relating to courses/exams.
* Provide effective and flexible support for ad hoc business tasks and events such as those linked to enrolment, progression and admissions within each Centre.
* Report to the Head of College Administration & Exams; create, review, and update all school timetables within EBS, ensuring timetabling accuracy per timetabling guidelines and dealing with queries from awarding bodies, curriculum areas, students, parents and other stakeholders; undertake correspondence when necessary and troubleshoot problems.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience of providing strong and effective administrative support within a fast-paced environment and ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
* High level of computer literacy; ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; ability to build relationships across teams to deliver tasks effectively.
* Educated to GCSE/Level 2 including English and Maths.
* Experience of working in a curriculum setting is desirable, as is experience liaising with and supporting students, parents/carers and staff and achieving successful resolutions to enquiries.
