Job Description We are looking for a motivated and organised semi-skilled joiner/technical assistant to join the Joint Equipment Service team. This is a key role supporting the efficient installation of minor adaptations into service users homes that enable people to live independently at home. We are looking for someone who: Has practical joinery skills OR strong advanced DIY experience Is confident using hand and power tools Has experience in general property maintenance or similar work Demonstrates good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Can work independently and manage their workload effectively Has a flexible approach with a strong work ethic Possesses good communication skills and a respectful, professional manner Holds a full UK driving licence (essential for travel across Aberdeenshire) Desirable Experience Time served joiner Previous experience working within social care, housing, or public sector environments Knowledge of health & safety regulations Basic understanding of accessibility adaptations There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
