Salary
£28,760 - £33,563 per annum.
Annual leave: 30 Days (222 hours) + 8 Bank Holidays (59.2 hours) – this includes a discretionary Christmas closure period.

About The Role
This role is responsible for the management of the busy local curriculum administrative services function where a significant level of professional autonomy, independent decision making and proactiveness is required. You will manage and develop a highly skilled team whose focus will be to administrate the ‘Student Journey’ from application to certification and progression in a ‘Student First’ focused team. You will work closely with the Curriculum Administrative Services Manager to oversee the operational running of a curriculum administration office function daily, supported by Curriculum Support Administrators.
Main Responsibilities
* To manage a consistently high performing Curriculum Administrative Services Team, providing effective, student focused support across the college which oversees the curriculum and student journey administration.
* To support the Curriculum Administrative Services Manager with the design and implementation of a rolling training plan for the Academy Support Administrators.
* Ensure the curriculum administrative service function is operational and resourced appropriately during core business hours.
* Maintain an excellent standard of administrative support to assigned clusters of curriculum academy areas.
* Coordinate, and monitor the administration associated with Sparks Teaching Services, working supportively with the People Operations and Payroll Team.
* Manage the operation of various curriculum administrative systems and processes, including but not restricted to: student applications, interviews, enrolment, and associated processes; timetabling and programme planning administration; planning student induction; on programme survey administration; parent’s evenings, open evenings, and related staff rotas; processes related to students on programme e.g., attendance monitoring, withdrawals, fee payment etc.
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to support internal/external verification exercises, exams, and end point assessments.
* Supporting exam entries, qualification achievement administration and certification.
* Coordinating progression activities to include staffing, rooming, and planning activities.
* Coordinating the planning and associated tasks for student trips and visits.
* Monitor and support the Learner Support Fund administration as required.
* Support the development of and embed management of the college’s curriculum administrative systems and processes.
* Support the Curriculum Administrative Services Manager in identifying ongoing opportunities for delivering excellent customer service and seek improvements to current processes and ways of working, implementing these with all team members, ensuring best practice and lean processes.
* Maintain excellent working relationships with service users of the administrative service function.
* Provide confidential, and professional business support administration to assigned members of the curriculum management team.
* Service various internal meetings, including preparing meeting agendas and papers, distributing these timely, producing high quality, accurate meeting notes and recording and monitoring follow up of actions.
* Coordinate the planning and organising of cross college activities e.g., Open Days, enrolment activities etc.
