An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Physics to join an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ mixed secondary school in Bournemouth. The successful candidate will teach Physics across KS3–KS5, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that foster curiosity, problem-solving, and a love of science. Key Responsibilities Deliver dynamic and high-quality Physics lessons across KS3–KS5. Inspire students to develop practical skills, scientific thinking, and a passion for discovery. Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing effective feedback and interventions. Contribute to the development of an innovative and rigorous Physics curriculum. Support enrichment activities such as STEM clubs, competitions, and science fairs. Maintain high standards of classroom management, behaviour, and student achievement. About the School This Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ 11–18 academy has approximately 1,300 students on roll, including a thriving Sixth Form of over 320 pupils.
