Resource Co-OrdinatorLocation: Tayside, Perth & Kinross (base)Contract: PermanentHours: Full TimeSalary: £28,191.87We are looking for a Resource Co - ordinator to provide an effective, customer-focused service that supports the delivery of consistent, high-quality care services within a defined area.Reporting to the Senior Resource Co-ordinator, you will develop a strong understanding of service requirements, individuals needs and preferences, and staff availability and skills. By bringing this information together, you will proactively match staffing resources to service needs in a fast-moving environment helping to ensure effective service delivery, maximise staffing efficiency and minimise reliance on agency staff.You will act as a central point of contact for staff deployment and rota management using Arks Information Management System (AIMS), working closely with local management teams and contributing to system development and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesStaff Deployment & Service DeliveryPlan, create and maintain staff rotas, ensuring they are available for staff to view in line with our agreed rota guidanceDeploy staff to ensure contracted hours are met and service needs are coveredCo-ordinate cover for planned and unplanned absencesManage the deployment of relief staff to help minimise costs and agency use within the serviceSystems, Data & ComplianceEnsure all staff deployment is managed through AIMS in line with Arks deployment principlesMonitor compliance with AIMS and provide support to improve usageAnalyse data, produce KPI reports, and support managers to use information effectivelyPrepare Excel spreadsheets and Word documents as requiredCollaboration & CommunicationAct as a first point of contact for AIMS queries across the organisationBuild effective relationships with managers, staff, agencies and head office teamsWork closely with Care & Support, People & Organisational Development, Finance and IT colleaguesSupport communication between services, relief staffLearning, Development & ImprovementSupport staff induction and ongoing training in the use of AIMSContribute to the development of guidance materials and system improvementsTake part in the AIMS Working Group and support continuous improvement initiativesYou will work on a rota that includes weekend, evening and early morning hours to help support business needsAbout YouEssentialEnglish and Maths National 5 (pass) or SCQF Level 5Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing prioritiesExperience developing or managing staff rotas or deploying resourcesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate recordsConfident using digital systems, including Microsoft Word and ExcelDesirableSCQF qualification at Level 7 or aboveExperience within social care or a similar frontline service environmentUnderstanding of learning disabilities and support requirementsExperience supporting system development or process improvementExperience working to KPIs and performance measuresKey CompetenciesCommunicationTeamworkCustomer ServiceProblem SolvingManaging ChangeLeadershipProfessional BoundariesContinuous LearningWhy Join Ark?A values-driven organisation focused on human rights and quality supportSupportive team environment with opportunities to learn and developThe chance to make a real impact on service delivery and peoples livesIn return for your valuable contribution, Ark will also offer you:Annual Leave Buy & Sell Scheme - Employees have the option to sell or buy additional annual leave, up to a maximum of 5 days (or 1 working week for part-time staff) per year.Up to 36 days paid holiday per year pro rata4% Contributory pension scheme [RM1]Cycle to Work SchemeFully funded PVG & 1st year SSSC registration paid by ArkOur employees told us in a recent survey that they stay with Ark because they believe in our values, we have supportive managers who continually appreciate their staff and they love making a positive difference in our supported peoples lives, helping them to achieve their dreams.Ark would love to hear from you whether you are an experienced Support Practitioner or new to Social Care.Apply now to join us at this exciting time as our service grows by clicking the link below.CVs will not be considered.Please note Ark is not a UK Visa Sponsor.All interviews will be conducted in person on 9th June at Lochside House.Onboarding - What you need to knowScottish Charity No. SCO15694Working towards equal opportunities and a diverse workforce.[RM1] I know we still pay in 4% but just want to check this is ok as it's now a salary sacrifice?TPBN1_UKTJ
