We are looking for a detail-focused Technical Operative to take technical ownership of a production line, ensuring all products are produced and packed to full customer specification. You will play a critical role in maintaining product quality, safety, and compliance, working closely with QA and production teams to optimise performance and minimise risk. What You Will Do Production & Compliance Set up and verify machines with correct production data before start-up. Complete pre-start checks and ensure specifications (programmes, films, date codes) are correct. Monitor and control metal detection and check-weigh systems to ensure full compliance. Identify, report, and record faults, escalating issues where required. Quality & Food Safety Monitor product quality and take corrective action when needed. Ensure all products meet quality, safety, and legal standards. Complete all documentation accurately and on time. Work closely with QA to maintain compliance and GMP standards. Raw Materials & Yield Monitor raw material performance and communicate any issues promptly. Support actions to maximise yield and minimise waste. Hygiene & GMP Maintain high hygiene standards and follow “clean as you go” practices. Support structured cleaning processes to ensure a safe working environment. What You Will Bring Experience in a food manufacturing or production environment. Understanding of food safety, quality, and compliance standards. Knowledge of metal detection and check-weigh systems. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Good communication skills and ability to escalate issues effectively.
