Position
Role: Freelance Assignment Marker/Observer
Salary: £25 per hour
Duration: Ongoing freelance opportunity
Type: Full/Part Time/Flexible hours - fully remote
As we support thousands of learners nationally, we are looking for experienced tutors and/or training professionals to mark assignments or conduct observations across qualifications including Health and Social Care at Level 2-5 and provide impactful and valuable feedback to our learners to support their development.
As an Assignment Marker or Observer you will:
1. Mark a large volume of assignments for Levels 2-5 qualifications
2. Conduct in-person observations
3. Support with submission of assignments
4. Provide valuable feedback to each learner to support their development
5. Support Personal Tutors and Operations Manager with any other duties as required
6. Provide any additional learning needs support if required
Systems used:
We use Bud learner management system/E-portfolio and Turnitin for plagiarism checks. Experience with these systems would be advantageous; however, support and training can be offered.

Requirements
Qualifications:
1. Level 3 Training qualification e.g. Award in Education or equivalent
2. Level 5 in vocational area e.g. HSC
Experience:
1. Experience in assessing and marking assignments including up to level 5
2. Experience observing learners and providing feedback
3. Experience of providing impactful feedback
4. Stretching and challenging learners with effective development feedback
Other Information
This is a contractor/freelance opportunity and the working time is very flexible - we offer a competitive rate of up to £25 per hour.
