Key Responsibilities: • Manage a diverse portfolio of equity, debt, and fund investments across a range of sectors aligned to the Bank’s missions. • Monitor and report on financial performance and mission impact of investments, contributing to regular internal portfolio reviews. • Represent the Bank as a board observer or on advisory committees where relevant. • Support post-deal management by working closely with Investment, Risk, Operations, and Impact teams to ensure robust ongoing monitoring. • Advise on commercial readiness, market trends, and go-to-market strategies. • Contribute to turnaround strategies for underperforming investments in collaboration with internal teams. Key Skills & Experience: • Experience in investment origination, asset management, or post-deal portfolio management. • In-depth understanding of specialist sectors such as Life Sciences, CleanTech, or DeepTech, with the ability to assess complex development pathways and commercialisation risks. • Technical and financial appraisal skills including feasibility, scalability, and IP/patent evaluation. • Knowledge of regulatory environments and proven ability to support companies through approval processes. • Skilled in financial modelling and valuation approaches tailored to sectors with long development timelines. • Ability to interpret innovation and market trends to inform investment support and growth potential. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders. • Collaborative approach and experience working cross-functionally across finance, operations, and risk teams.
