At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit 2 part-time In-store Cleaners based at Sainsbury's Urmston store on a permanent basis until 31st May 2025. Role 1 involves 14.30 hours per week, and Role 2 involves 15 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £12.21.
Immediate start is available.
Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week, and at Arcus, we offer various shift patterns, including 5 and 6-day working options. Our shifts include early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, with weekend work. The current shift patterns are:
Role 1
* Sunday: 12:00 - 18:00
* Monday: Day off
* Tuesday: 13:00 - 16:00
* Wednesday: Day off
* Thursday: Day off
* Friday: 13:00 - 16:00
* Saturday: 13:00 - 16:00
Role 2
* Sunday: 07:00 - 10:00
* Monday: Day off
* Tuesday: 05:00 - 08:00
* Wednesday: Day off
* Thursday: 05:00 - 08:00
* Friday: 05:00 - 08:00
* Saturday: 05:00 - 08:00
You will also have the opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.
Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
* Operating machinery
* Carrying out thorough cleaning activities such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to maintain high standards of cleanliness
* Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies inside the store
* Working outside to keep trolley bays clean and free of debris
* Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed
Arcus will support you through full training.
What will you need?
Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided.
An eye for detail and cleanliness, along with a positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service.
Please note: You will need to provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of employment.
