We are working with a reputable provider of care for the elderly in the Midlands that is family owned and prioritizes quality of care.
I am seeking a Commercial Home Manager to drive occupancy and develop community relationships. You will have the opportunity to manage this Good CQC rated medium-sized residential and dementia care home.
The home is purpose-built with an excellent local reputation. You will be supported by a stable team, including a deputy manager and dedicated carers.
Your responsibilities include delivering exceptional care, leading a committed team, and maintaining or enhancing the home's reputation locally.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of the home's operations for smooth daily management.
2. Champion high standards of care, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and dignified environment for residents.
3. Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards.
4. Build trusting relationships with residents and families through clear communication.
5. Manage budgets effectively to ensure financial sustainability while providing quality care.
6. Develop relationships with local healthcare professionals and community groups to enhance the home's reputation.
Experience:
* Proven experience as a Home Manager in elderly or dementia care, ideally with nursing background but not essential.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent).
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Deep knowledge of dementia care, CQC regulations, and best practices.
* Compassionate, resident-focused approach with a passion for improving lives.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Salary:
c£55,000/65,000 pa, negotiable depending on experience.
25 days holiday plus bank holidays. Pension and bonus included.
