We are a caring and supportive team, and we pride ourselves on our extensive induction and training programme. The Joint Community Rehabilitation service (JCR) is at the heart of care in the community. Our teams assist older adults after an illness or injury to get back to independence in their own home.
In this development role you will spend the first 12 months enhancing your leadership skills and learning the Team Leader role through working on duty and being the first port of contact for Support Workers for advice including at evenings and weekends. You will take the lead on a key service area, for example medication and Equality & Diversity and first visits.
During this 12‑month period you will work towards completing the Team Leader Level 3 apprenticeship and your salary will be at Single Status 7. After the 12‑month development period you will line‑manage a team of Support Workers and Lead Support Workers, overseeing review visits and monitoring the progression of our service users. Once your apprenticeship is complete your salary will increase to Single Status 8.

You will need to demonstrate your ability to meet the travel requirements of the role and the role involves working shifts between the hours of 7 am and 10 pm, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
