I’m currently recruiting for an Associate Director (Data) role with a client within the public sector to lead strategic initiatives across data engineering, analytics, architecture and data science.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership across multidisciplinary data teams.
Drive innovation and excellence in data science, analytics, engineering, and architecture.
Lead and manage a team of 15–20 data professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
Oversee the implementation and optimisation of cloud-based data solutions using Azure.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align data initiatives with organisational goals.
Candidate Profile:
Minimum 8 years’ experience in data-related roles, with 3–5+ years in leadership.
Strong background in data science or analytics preferred; candidates from engineering or architecture backgrounds also considered.
Proven experience managing mid-sized teams in complex environments.
Expertise in Azure cloud technologies and modern data platforms.
Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Hybrid in Liverpool, Birmingham or Newcastle
This is a permanent position offering a salary range up to £100k pa.
