Job Summary
* Registered Veterinary Nurse – full‑time and part‑time option
* 6‑month fixed‑term contract
* Flexible hours with 1 in 4 Saturdays 9 am‑12 pm
* No out‑of‑hours, Sunday or bank‑holiday duties
* Competitive salary up to £32,000 pro‑rata, depending on experience
* State‑of‑the‑art facility with CT scanner, hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, and ultrasound
* CPD and certificate support, inclusive of funded training
* Public‑liability insurance, pension, and paid memberships (RCVS, BVNA, VDS)
Responsibilities
Provide skilled veterinary nursing care in a modern small‑animal practice, working closely with veterinarians, owners and support staff. Assist in procedures, attend to patients, liaise with clients, maintain records and contribute to a collaborative, patient‑focused environment.
Qualifications
* General veterinary nursing experience (required)
* Excellent customer‑service skills
* Cheerful, down‑to‑earth and enthusiastic attitude
* Genuine passion for animal welfare
* Valid registration with the RCVS
