Fancy joining the Wastewater Operations East Team, leading a team focused on providing vital wastewater operations in the East region, supporting our compliance mission in the Tayside North area, c overing Parts of Perthshire, Angus, Dundee, and Aberdeenshire.  What youâll do  You'll lead a team to draw upon their operational knowledge and experience to deliver complaint wastewater treatment works, ensure the team are delivering best practice in Health and Safety, Compliance and Wastewater performance. Lead your team through Transformation and Change initiative, ensuring they understand and are supported throughout the change.  Youâll work closely with other areas of the wastewater operations function as well as developing improvements with key stakeholders across the business in H&S, EPA, ICC, E&M, finance, DV2 and our supply chain contractors.  This role also requires you to: Develop a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture. Embedding the use of H&S tools including Take5, Everyday Safety Behaviours, Fatigue App, our Life Saving Rules and Risk Assessment procedures. Support the delivery of Zero Failing Works. Review performance, analyse trends and data, identify emerging risks and take timely action to resolve.  Ensure our WWTW have 0 Cat1/2 EPIs. Take responsibility for ensuring efficiency/improvement actions are delivered, including ISO, Fire Risk Assessments, chemical optimisation, audit actions. Support Capital project development and delivery. Act as PRC and deliver repair and maintenance requirements. Deliver our services on budget, and support delivery of 1% OPEX saving  What youâll bring  You'll lead by example, communicating messages by a variety of techniques, engages readily in collaborative working and can influence a wide variety of stakeholders, seen as a trusted and respected role model for team. Ensures key stakeholders are aware of progress updates and escalation of any emerging risks.  You'll be responsible for delivering compliance, finance, H&S and performance targets, and setting expectations to ensure delivery of these.  Be driven to achieve outcomes on time and budget to desired quality and possesses an enthusiasm and motivation to deliver in a challenging environment.  Be proactive, implement action plans prior to failure and ensure plans are sustainable.  Essential Technical Skills, knowledge and experience:  A track record of delivering results in a challenging, fast-paced business area. High energy, motivation and the capacity to tackle multiple issues and opportunities in parallel. Awareness and experience of driving high standards in H, S and W Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to connect people to our ambitions. Strong with data analytics and an ability to interrogate corporate systems (inc. Operational Management App, PowerBI / Telemetry / Excel) to identify risks and opportunities. Great leadership skills and a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence. Evidence of delivering and embedding change with visible improvements. If youâre new to Scottish Water, youâll join us on a starting salary of £41,000.
