Do you have a background in mechanical maintenance engineering in a manufacturing or production environment? We’re looking someone who’s knowledgeable, enthusiastic, approachable and great at explaining things to young people. You’ll train groups of apprentices in engineering maintenance, and you’ll have a caseload of students to visit in the workplace, so there’ll be lots of variety.

You’ll need to be…
6. positive, supportive and passionate, with a can-do attitude
7. organised and reliable
8. able to inspire students with your infectious enthusiasm and energy
9. experienced in electrical and mechanical maintenance
10. able to explain things simply and clearly
11. willing to work towards assessing and teaching qualifications
12. (ideally, you’ll be a qualified assessor and experienced in welding too)
What you’ll be doing…
13. training apprentices and wider industry
14. marking work, tracking progress and giving feedback
15. supporting, training and mentoring the next generation of engineers at our state-of-the-art Technology Centre in Monkerton (near M5 junction 29), and on site with a range of employers
16. joining one of the best engineering training centres in the UK
