We are recruiting a Band 6 Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary teams within the hospital to provide assessment, risk management, care, and treatment to aid recovery and support the patient journey.

Reporting to the Social Work Manager and working closely within consultant-led multidisciplinary teams, the post-holder will provide high-quality social work support to patients detained in a secure healthcare setting.
As a social worker with a defined caseload, you will contribute to initial assessments, risk assessments, and care planning. You will collaborate with internal and external services to identify and manage risks and ensure throughcare support is available. You will also directly support patients and their families.
You will take a lead role in safeguarding adults and children who come into contact with our service, providing social work reports for Mental Health Tribunals and Care Programme Approach meetings regularly.
