Duties of the roadside vehicle technician:
* Responding to roadside recovery calls across Horsham and surrounding areas
* Conducting vehicle diagnostics including tyre replacements, battery replacements, and fault detection
* Recovering vehicles to local garages when repairs are necessary
* Providing high-quality customer service whilst working in roadside conditions
* Managing shift patterns that may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends, with a predictable rota
* Ensuring vehicle and customer safety during roadside assistance operations
Requirements of the roadside vehicle technician:
* Proven experience in roadside assistance, vehicle recovery, or similar roles
* Level 2 qualification as a Vehicle Technician or equivalent
* Strong diagnostic skills with experience in tyre repairs, battery replacements, and fault detection
* Resilient and professional attitude, able to work effectively under pressure
* Excellent customer service skills, maintaining professionalism in challenging situations
* Reliable and flexible, willing to work various shifts including weekends if required
* Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
