Job Description
1. Provide legal leadership for the structured investments and annuities businesses, advising on regulatory, commercial, and strategic matters across product development, distribution, and ongoing operations.
2. Serve as a senior adviser to executive leadership and business management on legal risk, regulatory developments, and firm‑wide initiatives impacting structured products and annuities.
3. Lead and manage a team of attorneys supporting structured investments, annuities, and related insurance offerings; oversee the use of external counsel as appropriate.
4. Negotiate and supervise high‑value, complex commercial agreements with product issuers, distribution partners, and institutional counterparties.
5. Work closely with compliance and enterprise risk functions to ensure consistent regulatory alignment and risk management.
6. Contribute to the development and refinement of internal legal processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and consistency as the business grows.
