The role As a Graduate Complex Systems Design and Assurance Engineer, you will support the delivery of safety critical and complex engineering projects for cutting edge technologies across aerospace, defence, and other high integrity sectors. You can expect to contribute to the development and review of systems architectures, assist in applying systems engineering methods to guide design decisions, and help produce safety and certification artefacts under the supervision of experienced engineers. You will work alongside senior team members to : S upport the design and assurance of safety-critical software, electronic hardware, or system modifications. A ssess compliance against industry standards. Author and review safety and systems engineering artefacts from ac ross the V-Lifecycle Graduates in our team also gain early exposure to model based systems engineering tools, stakeholder engagement, and real world consultancy tasks - helping clients solve challenging engineering problems while building strong technical foundations and professional experience. As part of the wider business area, you will pull expertise from across the company and get a taste of what goes on in different areas of the business. Our graduates will gain exposure and experience in the huge variety of our work, and the chance to explore where their own skills and interests lie, whether that be a leadership or technical path. You will have the opportunity to travel within the UK and internationally – visiting client sites, attending key networking events, perhaps sharing your work at leading industry conferences. An evaluator : with the ability of evaluating information by understanding context and risk to make logical, informed decisions. Creat ing original and creative ideas through exploration and abstract thinking. You will need: T o have obtained a 2:1 d egree or higher (or equivalent/experience) with a related Engineering or relevant Scientific bias. Examples might include Systems Engineering or Ae ronautical /Aerospace Engineering. Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
