Service Engineer - Fire & Security Systems (Fire alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder)

Trinity is hiring a Service Engineer to join our dedicated team in the South of England. The role involves providing maintenance and servicing of our clients' fire and security systems. Working within a defined region of the UK, you will have the opportunity to obtain certifications in industry-leading systems including Gent and earn through our engineering commission scheme!
The role of Service Engineer
As a Service Engineer at Trinity, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing fire and security systems, completing scheduled tasks efficiently while adhering to high-quality standards. You will work as part of a skilled team, supported by our wider departments to ensure excellent service and customer experience.
Key tasks include:
1. Perform all necessary works at customer premises according to company standards.
2. Communicate effectively with customers to ensure understanding of system and site status.
3. Coordinate with service administrators and internal stakeholders to meet service commitments.
4. Follow planned service and maintenance schedules, handle emergency call-outs, and issue remedial repairs and minor additions in line with guidance.
The systems you will work with include:
* Fire: Gent, Notifier, Advanced
* CCTV: HikVision, Avigilon, Dahua
* Intruder: Galaxy, Texecom
* Access Control: Paxton, Honeywell, Gallagher

Skills required:
* Experience servicing and maintaining fire, security, CCTV, and access control systems to British Standards.
* Ability to identify, test, and terminate cables associated with these systems.
* Logical fault diagnosis and rectification skills.
* Outstanding customer service skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical knowledge needed:
* Understanding of basic building services related to fire alarm interfaces.
* Knowledge of causes and solutions for fire, intruder, CCTV, and access control issues, including recommendations for improvements.
* Basic Electrical Safety training (ECA).
* Manufacturers training, especially with Notifier and Gent equipment.
