Science Teacher – Middlesbrough

Protocol Education is working closely with secondary schools in Middlesbrough to recruit a Science Teacher to provide teaching and cover support across KS3 and KS4. This role is suitable for QTS-qualified teachers, ECTs, and experienced cover supervisors or teaching assistants with strong Science knowledge.
The Role:
1. Deliver engaging Science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics).
2. Provide high-quality cover and classroom support when required.
3. Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
4. Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
5. Support students’ academic progress and behaviour management.
The Ideal Candidate:
6. Holds QTS or has strong classroom experience in Science (teachers, cover supervisors, or TA cover).
7. Confident managing a classroom across KS3–KS4.
8. Passionate about Science and education.
9. Flexible, reliable, and proactive.
10. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
