Private Client Tax Accountant
📍 Based in Bishop's Stortford | Hybrid working with potential travel to London and Spain

Are you an experienced tax professional with a passion for private client work? We're looking for a Private Client Tax Accountant to join a growing and forward-thinking legal and financial services team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with solicitors and partners across Wills, Probate, Property, and Family teams-delivering expert tax advice to high-net-worth individuals, family trusts, and estates.
What You'll Be Doing as Private Client Tax Accountant:
Advising clients, trustees, and executors on income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax
Preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, trusts, and estates (Iris Software experience a plus)
Preparing Trust and Estate Accounts using spreadsheets and bespoke software
Supporting cross-functional teams on tax aspects of property and family law matters
Developing internal and external tax guidance and expanding tax-related services
Staying up to date with relevant tax legislation and best practices
What our client is looking For:
CTA, STEP, ACA, or ACCA qualified with 5+ years' PQE in private client tax
Strong understanding of trust accounting and double-entry bookkeeping
Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
Experience supervising junior staff and leading cross-team projects
