Electrical Engineer FM Service Provider Pharmaceutical - No Call outs Cambridge £46,000 per annum
CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join a leading pharmaceutical site in Cambridge. This site is a modern, state‑of‑the‑art facility with multiple specialist areas and cutting‑edge equipment, operating across 40 countries.
You will be part of a medium‑sized team of 12 engineers who know the site inside out and will help you get up to speed quickly. The campus supports a large workforce and offers excellent amenities including multiple food outlets and break areas, ensuring you have everything you need during your working day.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Install, wire, test, and maintain electrical systems in pharmaceutical environments.
* Perform pipe fitting for electrical systems, including conduit bending, threading, mounting, and support installation.
* Read and work from electrical drawings, schematics, and basic piping layouts.
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults and conduit/pipe‑related issues on site.
* Ensure proper grounding, bonding, and safe routing of cables through piping systems.
* Assist with installation and commissioning of panels, motors, and field equipment.
* Follow safety procedures, electrical codes, and site requirements at all times.
* Work closely with mechanical and construction teams during installations and repairs.
* Maintain AHU, FCU, BMS systems.
Requirements
* Understanding of mechanical/electrical systems such as HVAC, AHU, FCU, pipe works.
* Level 2 or 3 in electrical/mechanical engineering.
* 18th edition (Electricity Phase 2/C).
* Previous experience in a hospital, medical facility, or critical‑care environment preferred.
* Knowledge of pipe fitting.
* Strong background in electrical installations or maintenance.
