Responsibilities
* The Neighbourhood Officer will be responsible for visiting customers providing advice, reviewing tenancies and identifying any problems. You will be regularly inspecting our estates, raising, reporting and monitoring to a successful conclusion any health and safety or safeguarding concerns.
* You will also be responsible for playing a key role in developing strong relationships within local communities, working collaboratively with other agencies and Platform colleagues.
* Other key responsibilities include managing and investigating tenancy issues such as anti-social behaviour, condition of property, fly tipping or safeguarding concerns. You will also undertake new tenancy sign-ups and accompanied viewings for new homes.
Qualifications
* You will have experience of working in the social housing sector, particularly with a background of dealing with tenancy management, ASB and safeguarding.
* This will be a role well suited to someone with experience of working closely with customers to tackle complex issues.
* You will be proactive in your approach, organised and have the ability prioritise your time to meet timeframes.
* You will have excellent communication skills and a customer focused approach, understanding the importance of delivering a high standard of service.
* This role involves regular travel. A driving licence and use of your own vehicle or alternative means of getting to the required locations is essential.
* Due to the travel required around the patch, the candidate will ideally be based in Skegness or live within a commutable distance.
* This role will require a basic DBS check.
