Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Administrator to join our team in Lutterworth on a full time permanent basis.
Salary: £26,043 per annum.
Working hours: Monday-Friday (6am-2pm).
As an Operations Administrator you will be responsible for effectively and accurately managing vehicles from receipt through to despatch. This role is critical within the business and needs someone who is accurate and precise in the way in which they work.
Key Duties of an Operations Administrator:
1. Responsible for receipting and despatching of loads in a timely and secure manner to assist in shift efficiency whilst using correct operational processes and procedures.
2. Dealing with drivers on both inbound and outbound.
3. Liaise with the Operations Controllers in order for the warehouse to be prepared accordingly and allocate bays for the vehicle.
4. Completion of inbound and outbound paperwork in a correct and timely manner.
5. Using the inbound schedule to book in deliveries to allocated slots.
6. To Communicate with customers around inbound issues or outbound delays.
7. Making sure all loads have the correct orders on as per planners instruction.
8. Preparing detailed packing lists for export loads.
9. Communicating with the warehouse at all times if any changes are made to the laod plan or loading details.
Qualifications
10. Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
11. Able to organise & prioritise their workload.
12. Must be a team player who is capable of working on their own initiative.
13. Good PC skills and Knowledge of MS packages is essential.
14. Excellent communication skills.
15. Able to work to tight deadlines.
16. Excellent problem solving skills and tenacity.
