Responsibilities
* Design, guide, and vet software designs within the scope of the team.
* Solve ambiguous/complex problems through simple architecture and coding techniques.
* Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
* Help set technical direction for a small number of adjacent engineers and ensure alignment with key partners and stakeholders.
* Lead technical projects to deliver high quality features for our users.
Minimum qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
* 5 years of experience with software development in Java and Kotlin.
* 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications
* Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
* 5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
