We are seeking a dedicated Female PE Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school. This role involves full teaching and assessment responsibilities. The position is part-time, four days a week, and is available until Easter. Day-to-day of the role:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons aligned with the curriculum.
* Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback to promote strong student outcomes.
* Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive, safe, and energetic learning environment.
* Encourage students to actively participate in all physical activities and to understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
* Organize sports events and competitions.
* Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate physical education with other curricula.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Previous experience as a PE Teacher in a secondary school environment.
* Strong understanding of the PE curriculum and assessment methods.
* Excellent communication and motivational skills.
* Ability to manage classes and deal with challenging behavior.
