AV TEAM LEADER – EVENT PRODUCTION & EQUIPMENT HIRE

Hours: 5 days out of 7 with flexibility to work weekends – 40 hours per week Salary: £31,400 – £33,000 (dependent on experience)

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's leading creative event production companies delivering live, virtual, and hybrid events for clients across multiple industries.

Day-to-Day Duties  • Lead a team of 2–5 AV Technicians — setting high standards and supporting their development  • Prepare, deliver, and operate professional AV equipment for client events  • Liaise with the Hire Logistics and Operations teams to plan daily schedules and equipment requirements  • Ensure all projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to ISO and Health & Safety standards  • Use HireHop rental management software to track equipment and jobs  • Build strong client relationships and ensure exceptional customer service on-site  • Deliver, install, and demonstrate AV systems at client venues  • Dismantle and collect equipment after events — ensuring all venues are left clean and tidy
Essential Skills & Experience  • Minimum 3 years' experience in AV hire, event production, or a similar technical role  • Proven ability to lead or mentor a small team  • Strong communication and organisational skills  • Hands-on, practical mindset and customer-focused approach  • Flexible attitude to working hours — evening and weekend work will be required  • Full UK driving licence
Training Provided  • Full training will be provided, with ongoing development and support
